The bagpipes are getting prepared for this year’s Celtic Fest Vancouver – 6 days of fabulous music, dance and family entertainment with almost 70 free and ticketed concerts and events scheduled. The whole event is great for families and very stroller friendly.
Celtic Fest Vancouver culminates in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday March 18th. The parade is free and open to people from all cultures, ages and walks of life. Remember to wear green for St. Patrick’s Day Vancouver. Each year over 300,000 people come out to watch the parade and 2,000 people participate in the parade. Expect to see pipe bands, drums, dancers, motorcycle drill teams, acrobats, stilt walkers and vintage cars.
